Please Note: Though these images are for the Flits listed the BoD have not approved them. They, therefore, CANNOT be used on any Arolos list or page.
Colour: Brown Island: Dragon Roost Island Weapon: Boomerang Egg: The Fight or Flight Egg Recipient: Kouga

Appearance: This Brown his quite small for his colour and always will be. His Blue brother will always outsize him a way, but perhaps this is a good thing. This boy has a silky hide of tree like colouring, the colour you see underneath the bark. His wing membranes are a rich brown sugar in colour. He has a short face and small head knobs with long, agile fingers on his front feet. Overall he is average in build for a Brown
Personality: He will generally be quite laid back and will have an ease about his existence that will make it difficult for anyone to fret over things. He is a very responsible boy and if you ask him to deliver a message he will make sure it is done. One quirk about this boy is his aim. This Brown may well be one of the best Flits for catching things on all of Pern. When he is young it will just show in how he catches small fish but as he gets older he will encourage his pet to play games of throwing so he can show off his skill. Eventually he will get so good that his pet will be able to throw five pebbles at once and not have one of them hit the floor as this boy Betweens here and there in a flash to fetch them all. He will always be overly concerned for how others feel, and want to cheer them up if he can. If not though, he will be happy to just sit on their shoulder, even if he doesn’t know them, and be with them while they are sad. Many people will know this Flit even if they don’t know his pet.
Colour: Blue Island: The Tower of the Gods Weapon: The Master Sword Egg: The No One Can Hear You Scream Egg Recipient: Aimee

Appearance: This boy is large for his colour, far out sizing his Brown brother. He is also built more like a Brown than a Blue, with a sturdy frame and a strong form. He has a determined, slightly harsh looking face which many will mistake for one of scorn, but this Blue has no time for such pointless things. He is a blue grey overall with bright blue sections that cover his tail, chest and abdomen, right front foot and left back foot. His wing membranes are a steely grey blue, though still perfectly matte.
Personality: The Flit of Evil’s Bane. Or so he would have you believe. This Blue has an incredibly strong sense of justice and righteousness and will go to any length to ensure the protection of the vulnerable. He will often leave his pet to go and explore to see if there are any crimes that need his intervention, and if there are he will come at the bad guys with claws and wings and teeth and not give up until he has won the day. He will also be aware of the strength of his opponents and he will not underestimate them, if someone is going to reach out to hurt him, well, he’ll just have to Between away and reappear behind them and bite their backside. This Blue is also very dominant, more like a Bronze in that regard, though he has no desire to sire a Clutch and lacks the arrogance of a Bronze. He also doesn’t care about dominating other Flits unless it’s to rally them into action, and more than a few will want to follow him. This Blue isn’t the sort of Flit to sit on his pet’s shoulder all day, but if there is something bothering his pet he will go all out to solve it for them, and encourage them to do the same. His pet may find that it is difficult to be defeatist when this Blue is around.
Colour: Green Island: The Forest Haven Weapon: Grappling Hook Egg: The Remembering Ball Egg Recipient: Jerzy

Appearance: Nothing special can be seen about this girls’ form, she is average for her colour, but she does have very big claws. The claws on this girl are more like what you’d expect to see on a Brown, maybe even a Bronze, and they’re razor sharp. She isn’t the sort of Flit her pet will want sitting on their shoulder. She has a light green hide that is quite gentle in tone and much darker wing sails of a bottle like colour.
Personality: This Green will love to make music. If it makes a noise she’ll want to play it and add her own warbling tones to it. She isn’t that great at singing though and seems to be more concerned with experimentation than she does harmonising. This pretty Green will also have a fondness for sitting on her pet’s favourite things; the chair, the bed, that fine shirt that cost over five marks, but her pet will very quickly learn to put things away where this girl can’t get them, as her claws will destroy many fabrics without her even trying. She will also not be convinced to move from a place if she thinks it is not yet time and it will be difficult to force her, as those claws are like needles and when you have one leg free she will have wriggled away another and hooked that on. The best idea will be to use a sweeping motion, but it may take some time for her pet to perfect, even when that happens this girl will then simply go elsewhere to find her comfort. Her pet may have many apologies to give.
Colour: Green Island: Mother and Child Isles Weapon: The Mirror Shield Egg: The Ghosts of the Lamp Egg Recipient: Kari

Appearance: A long and supple neck and tail are not really what sets this girl apart, nor is her cute, little, rounded face. No, it’s her colouration that does it. Her hide is a bright, lurid, vivid, lime green, it’s so bright in fact that it’s quite painful to look at sometimes. If the sun hits her right or she has just been oiled you may find yourself partially blinded, like if you looked at a flame directly. Her wing sails are paler in colour, a lemony green, but still very bright. You will often see this girl with oddly coloured claws, preferably those that contrast well with her hide.
Personality: Kind and caring is this girl but also very Gold like in her temperament. Green’s can’t lay metallic’s but a Draconic’s personality isn’t fixed by its hide and this girl proves that. She won’t try to force her will upon others like a Gold might, but she believes that she off all the Draconic’s, including Dragon’s and Whers, knows what’s best and how things should be done, and she isn’t afraid to tell someone about it. She will even correct things herself if she doesn’t see any improvement in the matter. This Green is extremely maternal and will want to look after anything if it’s young, she will even snuggle up to a kitten if she finds one. Regardless if her pet is male or female, she will urge them to have children. If her pet is an adult and has no children she will even go so far as to think them freakish for it, for how could anyone be capable of having a child and not do so??? One thing about this girl that her pet may find annoying is her desire to have painted claws in colours that clash horribly with her hide. She is very aware the effect her coloration can have and wants to add to it. If her pet doesn’t paint her claws she may try to do so herself…
Colour: Green Island: The Forsaken Fortress Weapon: Bow plus fire and ice arrows Egg: The Fish in a Bowl Eggac Recipent: LilytheSecond

Appearance: A chunky girl with a relatively short body and a large, smooth head. Her hide is greyish grape green with quite remarkable wing sails of alternate colours. One colour is a hot, yellow green, the other, a chilly turquoise green. They sit alternatively on each wing, each colour never actually meeting from one wing tip to the other. The turquoise sections have what appear to be cracks in the edge of the sails, and yellow green sections seem to be tattered at the edges, as if she has been attacked by something, but she has always been this way.
Personality: This girl will always give people reasons to be suspicious of her, she just looks so guilty all the time, and not in a regretful way, in a ‘what you gonna do about it’ way. She’s the sort of Flit who will do something bad just to see what the effect is and then be completely unapologetic about it afterwards, feeling it is her right to discover how the world works. She will intentionally reorganise her pet’s clothes and trinkets just to see how long it takes her pet to sort it out and how flustered her pet get’s whilst doing it. In her Clutch it was like there was only so much aiming talent to go around, and her Brown brother got almost all of it, as this girl can’t aim to save her life. If she were a wild Flit she would probably die of hunger because she just can’t catch her own food. Every so often she might get lucky but she really will be one who relies upon her pet for her survival. Though it can be quite amusing to watch when this girl goes to land on the back of a chair and misses completely, ending up in a frustrated heap on the floor. Take pity on her won’t you? Pick her up and give her a hand, poor thing.
I would like to appologise for how long it took me to get these images finished. I should have known better than to colour them digitally as I only have limited access to the software needed. Obviously those that did get a Flit will be happy anyway so to those that won't get a Flit from this Clutch I am really, really sorry it took so long just to give you bad news.

The Fight or Flight Egg

This brown and pink mottled egg seems nicely pretty at first, and many people will never see anything more, but some will see something else in this egg. There, can't you see it too? This egg has eyes, feline eyes! Muddled up with all the spots and blobs is the face of a feline, staring right out of the egg. It's quite unnerving, the way those eyes stare, as if you are being fixed by the gaze of a predator in hunting mode. If you can't see the eyes, count yourself lucky, because once you spot then you won't be able to go back to blissful unawareness.
Island: Dragon Roost Isle Claimant: Kouga
The Silky Seaweed Egg
Compared to the other eggs in this clutch this one seems quite plain, which isn't really fair considering it is very beautiful in it's own right. It's just outshone a bit by those 'flashy' eggs. The Silky Seaweed egg is a beautiful blue of swirling water. It looks like no water you will have ever seen but you can imagine it really existing. But pretty flowing water isn't this egg's only draw, it's also covered in seaweed. This egg is another of those which has one of those weird optical illusions in that the seaweed seems to protrude from the egg, wrapping around the shell. The seaweed is light green and almost rubbery in appearance. It looks as though it would be springy to the touch, but don't try poking it, Sporia would object and you might loose your fingers.
Island: The Fairy Isles Claimant: Cass
The No One Can Hear you Scream Egg
At first this egg will seem pretty and quite alluring with it's blends of yellow and orange, but look closer and most will begin to see other things in the egg, creepy things. Some will insist they can see the Flit, growing inside this egg. That is, of course, impossible, but you can see something which looks like a head, and something which looks like a foot. Others will go into great detail about what they can see in this egg, insisting that no Flit can be seen and that 'head' is in fact the Red Star, giving off a powerful aura after sinking into Pern's atmosphere. They will tell you that a beautiful beach scene has been turned into something of horror as the Red Star melts the sun and destroys the land. Many who look upon this egg will be creeped out so much they'll wish this egg would never hatch.
Island: The Tower of the Gods Claimant: Aimee
The Ghosts of the Lamp Egg
Why must Sporia lay such freaky eggs? This one seems to have some sort of monster playing about it's surface. Pinks and blues and just a hint of green make up the colours on this egg but they seem to occur both in patches and quite randomly, producing a mottled effect that almost seems to lay under the image of the monster. Look at that monster long enough and you'll notice that this egg has a sense of humour, as the monster appears to be wearing a hat! If the surface of this egg wasn't strange enough, it also has to cast off the light in odd ways. No egg should be able to turn take glow or firelight and make it pink or green without being really shiny, which this egg isn't, but it does the job quite well. Why Sporia insisted on calling this egg the Ghosts of the Lamp Kee'tae will never know. He can figure out the ghosts part, but where's the lamp?
Island: Mother and Child Isles Claimant: Kari
The Fish in a Bowl Egg
That's impossible! There can't be a fish in that egg! A Flit, yes, but not a fish, and you wouldn't be able to see the Flit anyway, so how come there is, quite obviously, a fish in that egg? This fish isn't one you'll ever be likely to see, for a start fish don't have front facing eyes, and this one just doesn't look like it could be real, it looks more like a child drew it into life. Not only is there an orange fish in this light blue egg but it also appears to be blowing bubbles. Some can be seen coming from the fish's mouth, and others have gathered at the top of the egg, as they would in real life, except that fish don't actually blow bubbles. Also, at no point can you see the fish fully. No matter how you turn this egg the light is always reflecting off it in such a way as to block the view of the fish, try turning the lights down and it'll be too dark to see. Strange, huh?
Island: The Forsaken Fortress Claimant: LilytheSecond
The Truth is Out There / The Life on Mars Egg
Ouch! This egg must have been a difficult one to lay. First off it's the biggest out of the Clutch and second it has those sharp edges, or does it? This egg is metallic red in colour, which will lead some to hope it contains something metallic inside, but no Green can give birth to Bronze or Gold and the shell doesn't tell the hide. It's quite a shame that soon this egg will be broken as it's quite a work of art. It looks as though a glass crafter created a red bauble with a mottled effect and gave it to a metal crafter, who sculpted a shape around it, though how they made the metal red is anyone's guess. For whatever reason, Sporia isn't fond of this egg, perhaps it really was hard to lay.
Island: Windfall Island Claimant: Blacksoulmage
The Remembering Ball Egg
What is it with Sporia and having eggs that have things inside them? This egg seems to have smoke inside it, which makes no sense whatsoever. Gold bands seem to surround this egg and it really does look like it's made of some special sort of glass. The smoke within doesn't really move, it can't, it's just an illusion, but see it out of the corner of your eye and you'd be forgiven for thinking that the smoke billowed, just a little. Sporia says that this egg is special. She tells Kee'tae and anyone who will listen that if you hold this egg and have forgotten something, the colour of the smoke will turn red. Unfortunately as Kee'tae is the only one likely to hold this egg apart from the person who eventually claims it, it'll be a hard theory to prove. Either Kee'tae has nothing he's forgotten, or Sporia's is just being weird.
Island: The Forest Haven Claimant: Jerzy
The Prudent Egg
Maybe to some this egg will just look like a piece of amber, but to many this will be the worst egg they have ever seen. For those that survived the erupting of Mount Prudence this egg may bring back bad memories of hot boiling lava and fire destroying all in it's path. Look closely at some of the details in this egg and you can almost see a mountain exploding with fire. You might be able to see rocks flying away in all directions. Lava may be seen to rip through the mountainside and those with the most vivid imaginations will see cots holds burning to ash and people fleeing for their lives. And yet there will always be those that insist it looks like nothing more than a piece of amber.

 | 04:52 pm - Trips Clutch - The Quidditch Anagrams Clutch
Trip’s Clutch Quidditch Anagrams Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quidditch
Sthicn – The Exploding Wings Egg Anagram: Snitch Pronunciation: suh-THIS-un Colour: Green Pet: Tai Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Snitch#The_Golden_Snitch
Appearance: This light green, grassy coloured Flit is most unusual. For some strange reason, not only are her head knobs pointy, but they’re HUGE. When she is just Hatched out of the Exploding Wings egg her head knobs will be relatively small, but, over the course of just a few months, they will grow by an enormous amount. The weirdest thing about this trait is that it actually quite suits her and once you’ve seen them a couple of times you stop noticing them. Her body is long and lithe with strong wing muscles and great flexibility. This girl is fast too, very fast, and she finds it very difficult to sit still, she’ll even twitch about in her sleep. Her great speed will make her a good Flit to have as a messenger, but her desire to be off as quickly as possible will leave those getting the message with little time to take it from her. Often she’ll simply naw it from her leg. Personality: Sthicn will be a difficult Flit to Impress. Her new owner will have to keep a close eye on her egg as when she Hatches she’ll want to be off as fast as possible. Grab her quick and offer her food and she’ll be yours, but she’ll still want to fly off. Many Flits do little more than sit on their pet’s shoulder all day long and sleep on their pillow at night, but not Sthicn. She’ll very rarely land anywhere, and even want to fly whilst eating. As a partner she won’t be the best of Draconic company, as she’ll quite often be somewhere else. But, her pet will soon learn, that if you entice her into a good game of tag, she’ll happily play for hours. Dubleger – The Blood and Lightning Egg Anagram: Bludger Pronunciation: doo-BLEE-ger Colour: Blue Pet: Nemasay Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quidditch#Balls
Appearance: You may never see such a hench blue again. Dubleger is built like a Bronze Wher, all muscle and power. He is a mix of light sky blue and pale maybe blue, with mauve blue wing membranes. His head knobs are large, bulbous, and come straight of his eye ridges. In comparison to the bulky nature of his body’s appearance, his wing membranes seem overly delicate, as if they would tear at the slightest touch. Personality: This is one weird Flit. It seems as though Dubleger is one who will make the most of what he has, and for Dubleger that’s his strength. You’ll often find him picking fights with those bigger than him to prove his worth, the problem is, he’ll even pick fights with Gold Dragons. If that gets him no where he’ll just sit next to a wall and head butt it, over and over, and over again. You’d think this would do him damage, but he never seems worse for wear. It’s as if he just doesn’t have the pain sensors that the rest of Fire Lizard kind has. The problem for Dubleger is that he won’t think anything of an injury, which he will inevitably get. He’ll know very well that his pet will want to treat him, so he’ll try to hide any injuries, and, if they are discovered, it will take a strong will to get him to sit still long enough for treatment. Dubleger’s pet will have to learn to check him regularly for injuries so that they don’t become so much worse.
Lequaff – The Dirty Nebular Egg Anagram: Quaffle Pronunciation: leh-Q-uff Colour: Green Pet: M'att Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quidditch#Balls

Appearance: Lequaff has a sleek, long face with a rounded muzzle. She is a deep, greying mint in colour with livid grass green wing membranes. She is pretty much the perfect expression of a Green, with a long next and tail and nicely defined muscle that is even throughout her body. She’s lithe enough to pull of agile moves, but strong enough to hold her own. More than that she is just very, very pretty. Personality: Lequaff is a loyal and protective girl. She will stick by her pet for the most part and will defend them whenever she feels there is a need. Unlike her Clutch Sister Sthicn, she will be the Draconic equivalent of a lap cat, and will love to be cuddled and held. When it comes to those who are loved by her pet, she will have to be given the time to get used to them gradually, as she is actually quite shy. Once a bond is formed, however, she’ll be just as attentive to them, well, almost. You know what happens when someone has a baby, right, and that baby get’s passed from one person to the next like it is a multiply wrapped toy at a party? Well, that’s the perfect world in Lequaff’s eyes. While babies might get tired of it, Lequaff won’t, and will be demanding attention from people other than her pet for far longer than they care to give it. Of course, all of these people will have to be those that she has gotten used to, and are important to her pet.
Getinds – The Fields of Love Egg Anagram: Snidget Pronunciation: ZHET-inz Colour: Green Pet: Lorcico Link: http://www.hp-lexicon.org/bestiary/bestiary_s.html#snidget
Appearance: Getinds is a very small girl, even for a Green Flit. Even as an adult she’ll only reach just over half of the size of the average Green Fire Lizard. She has a distinctly avian like appearance, with large eyes and a flat muzzle that ends in a slight point. She has very large back feet, which will, inevitably, sometimes get in the way. Her colour is that of the gemstone fluorite, but with a slightly dappled or mottled covering. This gives her the appearance that she has some sort of skin complaint, that perhaps she isn’t being taken care of very well and her skin is flaking from a lack of oiling. But she is actually very healthy, and will rarely get any problems that would require her to see a DragonHealer. Her pet might have a problem though, with the many accusations of mistreatment that they are likely to get. Personality: Getinds may very well be the shyest Flit in existence. The world at large is a very frightening place for her. Upon Hatching her pet might hope that it’s just because she is young, but it’s something that she’ll never really grow out of. She won’t be much use as a delivery Flit, as she’ll simply be too afraid to be anywhere without her pet. Getinds can trust though. It takes a long time for her to build up a relationship with someone who isn’t her pet, but it can happen, especially if that person has a lot of experience with Flits. When she isn’t hiding inside her pet’s clothing out of fear, she’ll be a happy and playful little girl. She won’t break the promises that her egg made, and, those that gain her trust, will be truly blessed by her company. There is something about her sweet little voice and fearful nature that makes Getinds so completely adorable. Huddiqict – The Yeah Baby Flit Egg Anagram: Quidditch Pronunciation: HUDDY-KICKED Colour: Blue Pet: Drystan Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quidditch
Appearance: His pinkish wings are set of beautifully by his baby blue wing membranes, and will be a real attention grabber for anyone under the age of six. His body is a delicate sky blue that will make even the most sullen feel a little better. His unusually short neck is balanced out by his agile tail and very long back legs. He has the face of an animal that bears a resemblance to something you’re sure you’ve seen before but can’t place, like a canine but…not. His muzzle is short and his jaw line wide. His head knobs are small and just made to be tickled. Personality: Children will love this boy, as he’ll always be willing to play. He won’t make a good delivery Flit as he’ll always think that playing with those who need him is far more important. Send him off with a message attached to his leg and you’ll have to give him specific instructions as to what he can and cannot do, or you’ll find that message scrunched up into a ball and used as something to bat about with the local Brats. After a time, Huddiqict’s pet may even find children turning up on their door, asking if Huddiqict can come out and play. He’ll be great at inventing new games to play, like the most imaginative child on all of Pern, and he won’t take no for an answer when it comes to testing them out. He’ll be quite critical of his work too, always re-inventing his games so that they work better and are more fun. His attitude to games and play that he’ll seem like the most disloyal Flit around, happily singing and communicating with anyone who might be interested in playing. | 03:49 pm - Trips Clutch - October 2007 If you are not a member of the DragonRiders of Pern RPing group, Arolos, this won't make a lot of sense to you...
But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the pretty picutres!
Trips' Clutch
Hatching: 20.Oct.07 / 8.16.3.
The Exploding Wings Flit Egg
What this egg portrays we hope will never come to pass, as it seems as though the sun itself has exploded! Deep reds, oranges and yellows burst forth from a single point. This egg is a super nova in miniature.
You would be forgiven for thinking that this egg is burning to the touch, but it is, naturally, only egg warm as it rests by the stove.
Strangely, the particular markings on this egg never appear to be the same twice. You might not notice it the first few times you look, but, after a while, it will come to your attention that something just isn’t right. It really is like this supernova is yet to settle and is still raging.
The Blood and Lightning Flit Egg
Why on all of Pern would a Flit need to lay an egg so huge? Okay, if it was a Gold Flit egg that would be an explanation, but a Green laid this egg, and Green’s can’t have metallics, so why does this egg feel the need to be so large? Its lucky draconic eggs are pliable when first Clutched or poor Trip would have suffered so when laying this egg.
Perhaps the Flit in this egg just wants a lot of room to move; one who likes its space. Though, regardless of the rules, there will be some who look upon this egg and hope that a secret Gold is hidden inside.
The surface of this egg portrays an ugly battle still raging, and a cosmic one at that. The surface is like grassy fields of deep green, with dark lightning striking across the sky. A storm rages and darkens the world of this egg, but something terrible has already happened. Blood stains the surface, blood which has dripped, ran, and been smudged by hands unknown.
If the Flit inside is also one for battle is yet to be seen, let’s hope it does not leave as much destruction in its wake as this egg portrays.
The Fields of Love Flit Egg
That can’t be right; surely, there can’t really be hearts on that egg, can there? Yes, it seems there can be hearts on an egg, for that’s what those markings are, no mistake. Spread across the surface, dotted here and there, are hearts in the palest gold, outlined in bright yellow.
They sit in a field of luscious grass, smooth and silky to the eye, as if the grass was cloth and not a plant.
But that’s not all; there is something strange about this egg. It is, apparently, see through. Hold your hand behind the egg and you’d swear you could see your fingers moving. But that can’t be right; you’d see the Flit inside. However this little trick works, it’s one illusionists everywhere will want to see.
There must be a Green in this egg, right, there just has to be? A dainty, cute, adorable little green who will spread love across the world, infecting whomever she meets with her kindness and joy. But it may not be. As most know the shell doesn’t tell the hide, or even personality. Inside this beautiful egg could be the most grumpy, snappy, and boisterous Flit you’ve ever seen.
So it may be good to enjoy this egg while it lasts, and let it infect you with its smiles.
The Dirty Nebular Flit Egg
Something dark and horrid lurks around this egg. Its deep purple surface is bound tightly with strands of a rotting gold. It looks like a celestial cloud gone bad, like a place where Thread would happily call home until it could suck the life out of a planet. There are even small dots and flakes on the egg. Those with active imaginations will see those dots as frozen Thread, just waiting for the change to feed, and all Pernese know that it doesn’t matter how small a filament is, it can still grow.
But maybe things aren’t as bad as they seem. To some this egg is in fact a dark celestial swirl that is protecting something ever valuable, and its appearance is only to deter those who may try to harm the precious thing inside.
This is, of course, the truth, for a precious life resides inside this egg.
Perhaps the Flit inside this egg is simply fearful of any predators that may try to harm it, so has spun itself a web of darkness in the hope that none will want to come near. If so, let’s hope that the Flit is not so afraid upon emerging from its shell.
The Yeah Baby Flit Egg
Yeah Baby! Groovy! And lots of other ecstatic words! Words you never heard before will pop into your head when you see this egg.
It’s a compendium of colours smothered with bright flowers. It doesn’t do any tricks, it doesn’t give off any optical illusions, but that doesn’t matter. What the Yeah Baby egg lacks in tricks it makes up for in enthusiasm.
The desire to place this egg on some sort of automatic turning device will be strong. You can’t help but want to see it spin!
Whatever Flit is inside this egg would have to be happy and hyper. The shell may not tell, but you couldn’t live inside that and not be infected by it. Surely colours that strong will leak into the egg and into the Flit inside. Maybe it will come out multi-coloured! That’s probably a hopeless fantasy, but maybe the Flit’s personality will make up for its lack of colours.
The Lights of Night Flit Egg
This egg almost seems to glow. Its surface is polished and dark, like obsidian crafted by the best SmithCrafter on Pern. But no SmithCrafter could add lights to the stone, as this egg has. Bright, shimmering motes drift playfully across this egg, darting about one another in some endless game.
Listen carefully and you can almost hear the motes making noises as they play; chirruping, cwaling noises. But, of course, if you can hear something, it has to be the Dragonet inside, right? The egg itself can’t make noises. But these eggs are always together, so, perhaps it’s not this egg that you can hear, but another that is simply throwing its voice.
Whether it is the Flit in this egg or one of its siblings, it certainly has some strange calls. Sometimes it sounds more like a dolphin than a Fire Lizard.
The Simple Swirls Flit Egg
The Simple Swirls egg is exactly that, simple. With it’s white base and mauve whips that work there way around the egg, this egg draws your eyes to it with it’s single minded…something. And that’s what happens when you look upon this egg, you will find yourself loosing your thoughts to it, as if it is leaching them from your head.
Perhaps the Flit in this egg needs more thoughts for itself. We all know that Flits, like Dragons, can communicate with their minds, perhaps this one can leach thoughts the same way too.
So try not to stare at this egg for too long, lest it whisk your mind away.
If you're interested in getting your hands on one of these Fire Lizards please fill out the following form and post it to the OOC list, or reply to my post on the list, again with the form filled out.
There will be no Flight for this Clutch as Trip was caught by a wild male.
Here is the time line for it;
RL Date:
10-Oct flight
15-Oct clutch
20-Oct hatch
Pern Date
8.16.2.24 flight
8.16.3.1 clutch
8.16.3.8 hatch
The Clutch will be given out on the Pern date of 6.3.16.8, giving them two days to Hatch.
This is a surprise Flit Hatching, you won’t know which colour Flit you have until I send out messages to those that got the eggs. All I will tell you now is that all of the Flits are Green and/or Blue, and that out of the seven eggs, only five will Hatch.
Here is how it will work.
You fill out the form below and send it to the OOC list. You need to submit at least one character that you want a Flit egg for, though more will give you a better chance at getting one. You see, in ICly terms, Rowenden will only give out eggs to those that he feels will look after them and take care of the Fire Lizards inside. In RL terms I will look at the persona sheets of those characters you submitted, in order, and see who Rowenden would give eggs to.
But that’s not all, I will also be matching the Flits to the Characters.
Each Fire Lizard already has a pre-set colour, name, appearance, and personality (the latter three of which you are free to ignore, however, if you want to make up the name, appearance, and personality yourself, you may be better off waiting for another Clutch to come along). Each Flit also has a picture, drawn by me, of what it will look like when it reaches maturity. Every egg in Trip’s Clutch has already been determined as to if it will Hatch or not and, if it does Hatch, which Flit will hatch out of it, meaning that you don’t get to choose which egg you want. In ICly terms this will work by Rowenden simply going on his gut feeling as to which egg each person should have.
So, if you’re interested, fill out this form;
E-mail:
Wizzy Nick:
Character Names: (Specify at least one. If more than one, please put them in order of preference).
Favourite Egg:
Viewing Thread? (Put yes if you want to play out the thread where your character view’s the eggs available. Put no if you’re not interested in playing this. Niether answer will affect your chances of getting a Flit)
Unhatched Egg: (Put yes if you are willing to have one of the unhatched eggs from the Clutch. This is not necessary, but I would like someone to have them).

 | 10:41 pm The fourth in the line of my 'How Far I've Come' pic. I've changed the background a bit, and added some shading to the dragon and coloured it's eye. I think it's going well.

 | 08:41 pm Look at Botabimon! I'd already added a border to this pic, but decided to do a better one in Photoshop. I downloaded the font from Font Madness

 | 08:01 pm This is Messiah. I was inspired by art I found on the net (can't remember whose). I've yet to add colour.

 | 08:02 pm Well, that took me about half an hour. Not too bad.
So, here's the proper version of Wispmon's portrait, with a snazzy border.

|
 | 06:44 pm This is the full version of my current avatar.

I'm currently working on giving it a proper border, as the one I've done already is low quality due to the software I had to use.
This wouldn't actually be my avatar, I would have a better one, this one

But for some reason LJ says that it exceeds the maxium size of 100x100, even though Photobucket says it's exaclty that size.

 | 06:42 pm Behold the Crest of Grace! Done in Photoshop in about 3 hours. Photoshop makes these kinds of things so easy, shame I only have a free trial.

Hmmm...might give it a background.
